Jenkins Ranch Part Deux is the second phase addition to the site’s master plan, following the previously conceived garage and upper level ADU (accessory dwelling unit). Programmed as the primary home for the owners, the space needs were minimized as guests would stay in the ADU. The house was oriented towards outstanding views of the La Plata Mountains, and the roofline was further lifted toward the views to maximize the glass. Connection to phase one was established by a covered breezeway that can be later screened in. Exterior wall finishes of stucco and standing seam roofing of Corten harmonized the palette with the first phase.
